O QUE DIZEM OS DISCENTES DE UM CURSO TÉCNICO DO IFNMG?

Abstract

Society is in constant transformation and, consequently, education is also influenced by such changes, reflecting on teacher training, students and ways of learning and teaching. In this sense, the present study sought to identify the characteristics of a good teacher in the conception of students of a technical course at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Northern Minas Gerais (IFNMG). Qualitative, exploratory research was chosen, using bibliographical survey and field research as technical procedures. Data collection was carried out with the application of a questionnaire and the qualitative analysis of the responses was carried out using the Collective Subject Discourse method. The result revealed that affective relationships and scientific mastery are the aspects most valued by students.
