DIREITO À EDUCAÇÃO SUPERIOR E ACESSIBILDADE DIGITAL
UMA ANÁLISE A PARTIR DE UMA POLÍTICA OFICIAL INSTITUCIONAL
Abstract
Digital accessibility is currently presented as a possibility for the social inclusion of people with disabilities in the struggle to exercise their rights. Several factors contribute to inclusion, including accessibility, including digital ones. This study, carried out through a literature review and subsequent document and content analysis, seeks to address the issue of digital accessibility as an imperative for the exercise of the social right to higher education for people with disabilities. In this sense, this research seeks to verify in Audit Report nº 7/2018 (last officially published report, by UFPel, until 2022), to what extent, this educational instituiion, implements digital accessibility for students with disabilities so that they have the adequate exercise of the right to higher education. Therefore, it is necessary to promote the debate about digital accessibility for this segment of students, as it is of great importance to implement digital education platforms, as well as other mechanisms that address the specificities of these subjects, so that they can enjoy the virtual world. safely and autonomously. In this way, higher education institutions approach students with disabilities, and enable the exercise of the right to higher education, with equity in the educational process.
