ENVIRONMENTAL INJUSTICE AND THE IMPLICATIONS REGARDING THE VULNERATION OF THE RIGHTS OF GUARANI AND KAIOWÁ INDIGENOUS WOMEN: THE ROLL OF INTEGRATION OF 2030 AGENDA
O PAPEL INTEGRADOR DA AGENDA 2030
Abstract
This research works on the concept of environmental injustice, understood as the violation of environmental spaces to some in detriment of others, relating it to the Guarani and Kaiowá indigenous women who live in the reserves of the city of Dourados – state of Mato Grosso do Sul, under the perspective of decolonial feminism. Through a literature review, based on the concept and associating it with an idea of sustainable development from the intersectional perspective of the human rights of indigenous women, the point was to demonstrate how they are affected by the assimilationist policy that violates them in a particular way and encourages practices that are offensive to their human rights. It turns out that fair access to environmental justice for indigenous women depends on changing the distributive perspective and considering their experiences and cultures, which can be facilitated by the implementation of the objectives for sustainable development contained in the 2030 Agenda.
