Abstract

This article is a review of the final course project that seeks reflection through the practice of a graduate student in the Computer Science Teaching program, within the context of Specialized Educational Assistance. The study was conducted in a resource room at a municipal public school. The research is grounded in the integration of Digital Information and Communication Technologies as tools to support the development of students with special needs, with an innovative perspective focused on autonomy and effective inclusion. The appropriate use of digital educational tools, specifically tailored to the cases that emerged and were understood during the course of the program, facilitated the synergy between theory and practice. Consequently, this research contributes to the intersection of technology and Inclusive Education, positioning technological resources as tools to enhance teaching and learning for special students within the school system. It serves as a reference point to be shared within the academic community, addressing the scarcity of studies of this nature in specialized repositories and databases. This qualitative study employed the Collective Subject Discourse methodology, providing insights for inclusive education through methodologies suited to the cognitive abilities of autistic students, ultimately promoting independence and inclusivity.
