Abstract

This brief explores the importance of digital inclusion in education, highlighting the need to ensure equitable access for all students through innovative approaches. Focuses on the theories of Thomas Hehir, particularly the “Universal Design for Learning” (UDL), the “Individualized Education Program” (IEP) and “Differentiated Instruction”. UDL promotes flexibility in the presentation of information, allowing for multiple forms of representation, action, and expression to suit diverse learning styles. IEP offers personalized educational plans for students with special needs, while Differentiated Instruction adapts content and teaching methods to diverse abilities. The article analyzes how these approaches converge to promote inclusive education, ensuring that the curriculum is accessible and responsive to individual differences. The joint implementation of these practices aims to create more inclusive learning environments, where student diversity is seen as a valuable resource for collective learning.
