Abstract

This research had the general objective of: Analyzing the relationships around the BNCC, interdisciplinarity and teacher training in a continuing education course in the Northwest region of the state of Rio Grande do Sul (RS). It was characterized by a qualitative approach, with the research typology based on action-research assumptions. As data collection instruments, a questionnaire with seven open questions was used. Through Discursive Textual Analysis (DTA) it was possible to identify two metatexts: - Interdisciplinarity with 10 Meaning Units (US); - Multidisciplinarity with six US. Based on the analysis of the US and the theoretical basis, it was possible to demonstrate, in the training of teachers in Mathematics, the preponderance of the dubiously concept of multidisciplinarity, rather than interdisciplinarity. In addition, through the analyses, we verified the prescriptivity based on the understandings of most teachers about the relationship between the BNCC and interdisciplinarity, reinforcing the perceptive of a technical rationality based on the BNCC. Thus, we emphasize the need for more in-depth studies for future training, aiming at time and space for discussions, based on the BNCC, to provide safety in teaching and to facilitate/motivate learning in Mathematics.
