PODCAST IN EDUCATION: A FORM OF LEARNING AID FOR CHILDREN WITH VISUAL IMPAIRMENT

Abstract

This article presents a reflection on the podcast media as a technological tool with the aim of helping to include children with visual impairments in the classroom. To do this, we carried out qualitative bibliographical research. In this sense, exploring the media and its potential in the classroom was a possibility of an accessibility resource to enable new pedagogical practices for these children. Our main research contributions were the theorists Jesus (2014), Freire (2013) and Vygotsky (1991), Sarmento (2009). Taking into account the uniqueness and the learning process, there is potential in the usefulness of the podcast in the school environment, as an inclusive educational tool, it is known that there must be a need for new discussions, reflections on this pedagogical resource, based on the mediation of the teacher , of teaching and learning.
