CONTRIBUTION TO TESTS WITH STIRLING ENGINE

Keywords: Stirling engine, Power generation, Learning

Abstract

The search for new ways to obtain energy, in a sustainable and cheap way, is growing. The objective of this work is to analyze the Stirling engine as an application of practical tests and an instrument of innovation, in the process of theoretical and practical learning for students of the engineering course. For this, adjustments and modifications will be made to the system, so that the energy generation and cogeneration tests, using the Stirling engine, are as didactic as possible, so that students can study, in practice, the operating principles of this equipment, together with the execution of tests and experiments related to the generation of electricity, using LPG gas to produce the thermal energy for its operation.
