AVANCES EN EL CONOCIMIENTO, COMPROMISO Y APORTES A LOS OBJETIVOS DE DESARROLLO SOSTENIBLE EN LAS UNIVERSIDADES DE LA RED COLOMBIANA DE FORMACIÓN AMBIENTAL
Abstract
The Colombian Network for Environmental Training (RCFA) is the oldest of the Latin American university environmental networks. One of its permanent programs is the Observatory of Sustainability in Higher Education in Latin America and the Caribbean (OSES-LAC). For this reason, it supports the research of this Observatory on the knowledge, commitment and contributions of Latin American higher education institutions to the Sustainable Development Goals. Six of its partner universities have responded to the RCFA's call to participate in this regional research. The analysis of the information provided by these institutions shows an overall level of progress of 72.8% in their contributions to the achievement of the objectives of the 2030 Agenda. The greatest progress is recorded in the area of government, with 81.7%. It is followed, in order, by the fields of teaching (76.7%), research (74.2%), management (70.0%) and extension (61.7%).
