INCLUSÃO ESCOLAR DE PESSOAS COM DEFICIÊNCIA NO CENÁRIO EDUCACIONAL BRASILEIRO SOB O VIÉS NEOLIBERAL
Abstract
The aim of this paper addresses the consequences of the new liberalism (neoliberalism) for education, especially for the special education of people with disabilities. Thus, the general objective is to analyze the school inclusion of people with disabilities in Brazil, considering the neoliberal discourse. Based on these premises, the problem is what are the main consequences of neoliberal discourse for special education from an inclusive perspective? The methodological procedures adopted consist of bibliographic studies, supported by books, scientific articles and other texts about neoliberalism and special inclusive education, as well as documentary research, especially the normative texts that regulate the National Policies of Special Education in Brazil. The research is a qualitative approach, supported by an analysis built from a study of knowledge in the area. The conclusion is that the regular schools that say they are inclusive only due to the enrollment of people with disabilities. In the great majority, do not have any support that promotes the full development of these people, causing, therefore, their marginalization, since education, under the neoliberal bias. It is just a product aimed at the satisfaction of the market with the production of labor.
