CONSIDERATIONS ABOUT ABUSE OF AUTHORITY: HISTORICAL DEVELOPMENT AND NEWS
Abstract
The new Authority Abuse Bill came into force. There was great trauma in receiving this bill because of serious legal and political facts that are face in Brazil. And Yet, it must be understood that the accountability of public officials is a necessary aspect of the rule of law, which is a concept of great historical and human value. However, it has been observed that the new Authority abuse bill ended up breaking previously well-defined limits, especially in face of crimes of malfeasance and arbitrary violence.
