Abstract

This article aims to reflect on the text as a form of social action. Some theoretical aspects of the text are discussed (support, type, gender and multimodality). It is proposed that the texts, in carrying out the act, given a setting in the material and social plan. The movement (production, distribution and consumption) of genres can change some of the textual configuration elements, resulting in the transfiguration processes, disfigurement and reconfiguration of text. Sought to show that changes in configurational text pattern generate impacts on multimodal semiotic aspects. Therefore, took up as the object of analysis of a text advertisement gender, first published by the Federal Government (Environment Forum, nº 100, page 26-27.), and later put it on - Português: linguagens, 3, Willian Roberto Cereja and Thereza Cochar Magalhães, published in 2013.
