The journal has an editorial team structured to ensure the qualified conduct of its scientific and editorial activities, combining strategic, operational and academic advisory functions.

¹ The Editor-in-Chief is responsible for defining the journal’s editorial line, scope and policies; ensuring the scientific quality and integrity of its publications; supervising and conducting the editorial process of manuscripts, including initial screening, formal checks, selection of reviewers, monitoring of the peer review process and analysis of review reports; making or confirming editorial decisions; monitoring editorial workflows, deadlines and communications; representing the journal in academic and institutional contexts; and ensuring alignment with good editorial practices and the principles of ethics in scientific publishing, in accordance with the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics.

² The Associate Editor participates in conducting the editorial process of the manuscripts assigned to them, including managing submissions, carrying out initial screening and formal checks, selecting reviewers, monitoring the peer review process and analysing the review reports issued; the Associate Editor is also responsible for recommending or making editorial decisions, according to the journal’s organisational structure, as well as monitoring deadlines and maintaining communication with authors and reviewers throughout the editorial workflow.

³ The Assistant Editor is responsible for providing technical and operational support for editorial management; assisting with the organisation and maintenance of the OJS platform; supporting editors, reviewers and authors in the use of the system; verifying the compliance of content with the journal’s editorial standards and the criteria established by indexing services; maintaining and updating the journal’s website, including the organisation of menus, the insertion and adjustment of logos and other institutional content; and supporting the identification and monitoring of indexing criteria.

⁴ The Executive Board is responsible for the journal’s operational and administrative management. Its duties include supervising the editorial workflow, managing deadlines, implementing internal policies and providing logistical support for the publication process. This board coordinates the journal’s daily activities, ensuring that the workflow follows the established standards of efficiency and transparency, while providing direct support to the Editor-in-Chief in implementing institutional decisions and maintaining the editorial infrastructure.

⁵ The Scientific Board brings together researchers from various national and international institutions, constituting a plural and qualified space for academic dialogue. Its members include lecturers and researchers affiliated with Brazilian universities from different regions, as well as foreign institutions located in countries such as the United States, Portugal, Spain, Argentina, Mexico and Colombia. This institutional and geographical diversity contributes to strengthening scientific dialogue, broadening theoretical and methodological perspectives and consolidating the journal as a space for the circulation of knowledge in the field of Education and related areas.

The composition of the editorial team and the boards reflects the commitment to academic quality, diversity of perspectives and dialogue between different contexts of knowledge production.
