Avaliação de estratégias utilizadas na gestão da qualidade em unidades acadêmicas de instituições de ensino superior
Resumo
O presente artigo visa abordar a temática da gestão da qualidade em Instituições de Ensino Superior (IES), com o objetivo de identificar, com base em literatura científica, as principais estratégias para a aplicação eficiente e sustentável do gerenciamento da qualidade nos processos administrativos. A pesquisa foi realizada nas bases Scopus e Web of Science, resultando na análise de 83 artigos. Como método, empregou-se a revisão sistemática de literatura, com análise qualitativa e quantitativa dos dados coletados. Os resultados revelaram quatro principais modelos de gestão da qualidade em IES: Gestão pela Qualidade Total (GQT), normas ISO 9001/20001, modelo EFQM e modelo Baldrige. Observou-se uma maior concentração de estudos em países com alto IDH, sobretudo na Europa, destacando tanto a relevância da gestão da qualidade para o desenvolvimento educacional quanto a dificuldade de países menos desenvolvidos em investir nessa área. Concluiu-se que a eficácia da gestão da qualidade em IES depende primordialmente do engajamento da alta administração, de uma cultura institucional voltada à melhoria contínua, e de uma comunicação clara entre todos os membros da comunidade acadêmica, dentre outros aspectos, servindo como uma ferramenta estratégica para o desenvolvimento sustentável e a formação cidadã no ensino superior.
