In this article, we wish to answer, through a specific case study, the following question “What are the implications resulting from the teacher’s experience with Digital Technologies of Information and Communication (DTIC) in context of Covid-19 pandemic?”. For that, was constructed and applied, to a teacher’s group, a quantitative/qualitative questionnaire, through the Google Forms tool. The research took place in a public municipal school, in the city of Lorena, Estate of São Paulo, Brazil. We adopt as a methodological basis of this research the inductive reasoning founded in Francis Bacon. The analysis of the responses of the teacher’s group was carried out in the light of the educational thought of John Dewey and of brazilian authors related to the use of technologies in the teaching, namely, Lilian Bacich, José Moran, Josiane B. Cani and Dinamara P. Machado. Through the results obtained, we conclude that, in the context of Covid-19 pandemic, these professionals face pedagogical, financial and psychological challenges. They overcame obstacles by almost exclusively their own effort, as they often found themselves alone, in adverse work situations. In addition, we noticed that when it comes to the use of TDIC in the school environment, there are serious problems in the formation of teachers and in the resources of educational institutions, mainly due to lack of investment and creation of effective public policies.
