THE USE OF INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGIES IN CONTINUING TEACHER EDUCATION
Abstract
Currently, in aneducation context that is experiencing a transformation process, the use of ICTs comes into play as auxiliary resources that, in addition to implementing, streng then the development of the teaching and learning process. This qualitative research a imed to carry out na intervention for the purpose of investigation and contribution in the continuous formation with teachers of different formations of a school of the state network of secondary education in the Center-South Region of the State of Ceará. At the time of intervention, the platforms PhET, StoryboardThat and Padlet were presented, in which the participants, in addition to knowing the interface, made simulations and constructions tounderst and their uses. To probe know ledge, validation for the need for training and studies that provide teachers with training focus edon the use of technological resources in the classroom context were analyzed through a questionnaire. The results showed that even in a contex twhere the use of technology prevails, some teachers believed that, byusing tools such as computers and cellphones in their classes, they were off ering the use of ICT, ignoring the purpose of using them. Finally, the use of ICT hás changed the teachers' conception and with them we can expand in a satisfactory way that favors dynamism in the teaching and learning process.
