Book reviews
This section is designed to receive reviews of works related to the themes that constitute the aims and scope of Edutec published up to three years before the submission date. The submission guidelines must be checked in “Instructions for authors”.

Peer Review Process

The articles received for eventual publication in the journal will undergo a preliminary analysis before being sent to the scientific editorial committee. Those outside the editorial criteria will be returned for adequacy.

The evaluators who are members of the Scientific Editorial Board and the consulted Ad Hoc reviewers will have a doctoral degree and belong to different scientific institutions.

The authors' names, reviewers, and institutions to which they belong will remain confidential during the entire evaluation process.

Edutec will annually publish the names of the Scientific Editorial Board and Ad Hoc reviewers on its website.

The aspects that guide the evaluation of the originals sent to the peers for analysis are theoretical and empirical content, mastery of scientific literature, the contemporaneity of the topic, contribution to the specific area of knowledge, originality of the approach, text structure, and quality of the essay. The evaluators may recommend full acceptance of the text, suggest modifications for a new evaluation, or indicate the text's rejection.

The evaluation is carried out by the double-blind system of Ad Hoc reviewer and the Scientific Editorial Board members. In case of discrepancy or divergence, a third referee will be consulted. The published texts express opinions, results, and assumptions of the exclusive responsibility of their authors.

The final editorial decision of the review process is made by the section editors, always guided by the recommendations of the reviewers, with the assistance of the calculation of the Parameters for the Editorial Decision.
