This study aims to develop emotion cards with images generated by Generative Artificial Intelligence (GA), associated with problem situations in children’s daily lives, as an accessible pedagogical resource for the socio-emotional development of children with autism spectrum disorder (TEA). The research is characterized as qualitative, of an exploratory nature, descriptive and bibliographic approach, based on studies on emotional development, inclusive education and use of technologies in education. The process of developing the material consisted in generating images using IAG ChatGPT and Grok tools, representing basic emotions through clear and easily identifiable facial expressions, accompanied by everyday contexts presented on the back of the cards. Subsequently, the material was analyzed from pedagogical criteria and visual accessibility, considering its potential contribution to inclusive educational practices. The results indicate that the use of structured visual resources can favor the recognition and understanding of emotions by children with ASD, aiding in the development of socioemotional skills and in the expansion of possibilities for interaction in the school context. It is concluded that emotion cards are a promising pedagogical resource for work with inclusive education, especially when articulated to teacher mediation and pedagogical strategies that value visual language and the contextualization of emotional experiences.
